Philip Jodidio (born 1954) studied art history and economics at Harvard, and edited Connaissance des Arts for over 20 years. His books include TASCHEN’s Architecture Now! series, and monographs on Tadao Ando, Norman Foster, Richard Meier, Jean Nouvel, and Zaha Hadid. He is internationally renowned as one of the most popular writers on the subject of architecture.

i think they forgot to add a few more pictures before it was published.

i was really excited about this book, so i pre-ordered it... i'm wishing i had looked through it before purchasing. it's basically one big tease. most cabins featured in it only have a few accompanying photos. barely any detail shots of the interiors or exteriors- you see a couple pics and you get all excited, only to be utterly disappointed when you turn the page and they've already moved on to the next one.

I found the book very informative. It might not be as amusing as other "lots of photos, not that many text" books but you get important details about cabins, prefab houses, modular places etc.
